Voy.do / Terms and Conditions of Use

Tagline: Discover nearby events and coordinate on site with friends, with interactive maps, geofences, and chat, while staying in control of your privacy.

• Voy.do is an information and coordination platform around events (it does not organise events and does not sell tickets).
• Tickets: when you buy tickets, you do so on external platforms. We do not handle payments or refunds.
• Location: used only in the foreground for maps/events and the on-site experience.
• Shared location: it is not public; it is shared only with friends inside groups and only if you enable it.
• There is UGC (user-generated content): profiles, photos, chat, and other user interactions within the service.
• Zero tolerance for impersonation, harassment, threats, doxxing, spam, sexually explicit content, harmful misinformation, or other abusive conduct.
• Tools are available to report content/users/events and to block users.
• We may issue a warning, a temporary suspension, or a permanent ban, with an appeals process.
• Safety: Voy.do is not an emergency service and does not guarantee your physical safety; location may be inaccurate.
• Age: the service is for people over 18.
• Organisers/artists/venues may be required to complete verification (KYC) where applicable.
• Sponsored content may exist, including geofence-targeted promotions during events.

4.1 Age and capacity requirements

The Site and the App are available only to people over 18 who have the legal capacity to enter into contracts. If you do not meet these requirements, you may not use Voy.do.

4.2 Registration and account security

• You must provide truthful, up-to-date information when you register.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity on your account.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.

4.3 Verification (KYC) for special accounts (where applicable)

For organiser, artist, or venue accounts, Voy.do may require verification procedures (for example, identity validation or proof of ownership of a brand/organisation). If you do not complete verification, certain features may be unavailable.

Any data processed during verification will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Voy.do lets you discover events, view maps and locations, coordinate with friends/groups, interact socially (likes/follows), chat and share content, receive notifications, and enable on-site experiences related to events.

Voy.do does not organise or run events on its own behalf (unless expressly stated), does not sell tickets or process ticket payments, and does not guarantee that an event will take place, that the line-up is accurate, that spaces are available, or that prices will not change.

Event information may come from organisers/owners or from public sources, and may change without notice.

6.1 Redirection to ticketing platforms

The App and the Site may include links or buttons that redirect you to third-party platforms to buy tickets.

6.2 No liability for payments and refunds

Purchases, charges, fees, changes, and refunds are handled by the relevant external platform and are governed by its terms and policies. Voy.do is not responsible for payment disputes, chargebacks, refunds, or claims relating to tickets.

7.1 Foreground location

The App may request access to location only in the foreground in order to show nearby events and enable map features and event experiences.

7.2 Location shared with friends and groups

• Location is not public.
• It can only be shared with friends inside groups.
• You decide whether to enable/disable location sharing at any time.

7.3 Important safety notices

• Voy.do is not an emergency service and must not be used to request urgent help.
• Voy.do does not guarantee your physical safety during events or meet-ups.
• Location, maps, and geofences may be inaccurate because of technical limitations (GPS, network, device, etc.).
• You are responsible for taking reasonable precautions when attending events or meeting other people.

8.1 What counts as UGC

UGC includes profile photos and data, comments, posts, media content, chat messages, and any content you post or share in the App or on the Site.

8.2 Your responsibility for UGC

By posting UGC, you represent that you own the content or hold the necessary rights/permissions, that your content does not break the law or infringe third-party rights, and that it does not breach these Terms.

8.3 Licence to display your content

By uploading or posting UGC, you grant Voy.do a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, reproduce, distribute, publicly communicate, and display your UGC solely to operate, promote, and improve the service. This licence ends when your UGC is removed from the service, except for temporary technical copies or legal obligations.

It is prohibited to use Voy.do for harassment, bullying, hate, or discrimination; threats, extortion, or violence; doxxing; sexually explicit content, exploitation, or abuse; impersonation, deception, or fraud; spam or inauthentic manipulation; malicious misinformation; intellectual property infringement; data collection without permission; or attempts to compromise the security/operation of the service.

We reserve the right to remove content and apply sanctions under a zero-tolerance policy for serious conduct.

10.1 Moderation (reactive and preventive)

We may moderate based on user reports and preventively (controls and monitoring of inappropriate behaviour).

10.2 Reporting and blocking

Voy.do provides mechanisms in the App to report content or users, report events, and block users.

10.3 Sanctions

We may issue warnings, apply a temporary suspension or a permanent ban, remove/hide UGC, and limit features (posting, commenting, chatting).

10.4 Appeals process

If your account or content has been sanctioned, you may request a review by writing to hello@voy.do with the subject Appeal — [your username/email].

Voy.do may display sponsored/official event content and promotions targeted by event context or geofence. Participation in promotions and any relationship with sponsors/third parties is between you and the relevant third party.

The Site, the App, its design, logos, trade marks, texts, software, and other components (except user UGC) are the property of Voy.do or its licensors.

You are granted a personal, limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the App/Site in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy/modify/distribute the software, attempt to decompile or reverse-engineer it, or use trade marks/logos without authorisation.

The Site and the App may link to third parties (ticketing, social networks, venue sites, maps, etc.). We do not control their services, policies, or availability. Your use of third parties is subject to their own terms and policies.

15.1 Account deletion by the user

You can delete your account from the App.

If you cannot access the App, you can request assistance with account deletion by writing to hello@voy.do from the email address associated with your account.

15.2 Termination by Voy.do

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if you pose a risk to other users or to the service, or if required by law/a competent authority.

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is and as available.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or 100% accurate service. We do not guarantee the accuracy of event information (dates, line-up, schedules, prices, availability), that an event will take place or will not change, or the accuracy of maps/location/geofences.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voy.do shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages; loss of data, lost profits, or lost opportunities; disputes/damages at events or in interactions between users; third-party ticket purchases/refunds; or decisions made on the basis of maps/location/geofences.

If liability were nonetheless established, it shall be limited to the maximum permitted by applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold Voy.do harmless from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your UGC, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of third-party rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

In the event of any discrepancy between the versions of these Terms in different languages, the Spanish version shall prevail.

We may update these Terms. We will publish the current version on the Site and, where necessary, notify you of material changes.
